All antenatal mothers are provided with health check-ups in 2800+ VHNDs & UHNDs observed in the district on Tuesdays and Fridays in which they are being provided routine check-ups, deworming tablets, calcium and iron supplements, etc. Only on 9th of every month (on PMSMA day only) the high-risk expectant mothers were being provided with a USG test. This operation framework shows the strategy of providing a minimum of 4 USG check-ups to all expectant mothers- to whom, at what place, by whom and when- for this activity. As VHNDs & UHNDs are the only points of contact with the service providers, eg. ANM, AWW & ASHA. Hence it is proposed that for effective management the group of antenatal mothers attending the VHNDs/UHNDs in a particular village within 12 weeks (1st ANC), 16-20 weeks (2nd ANC), 28-34 weeks (3rd ANC) and 36 weeks to delivery (4th ANC) are to be carried by ASHA & AWW as per the advice of the ANM to the designated tagged USG clinics
