Message from the Hon'ble Chief Minister regarding the Maternal and Child Health Program 'Matrujyoti' being implemented in Sundargarh (for approval)
"In Sundergarh district, the number of maternal deaths has dropped significantly as a result of the 'Matrujyoti' program," he said. "Through this program, all pregnant mothers in the district can be provided with 4 free ultrasound and ancillary testing services during pregnancy to save precious lives."

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Matrujyoti booklet contains 3 different section.
  • The First page contains questions on general health condition of the Pregnant women with basic information. This is specifically capturing the PW’s health history.
  • The second page ask about the current diagnosis report which was conducted in the health centre. In this stage the Health center will put their stamp and sign of the Doctor and can take a printout of it for their documentation.
  • The Third page contain the consultation of the Doctor.

  • “YES” the health centers should keep a xerox copy of the items instructed on the PCPNDT Act.
  • The Health Center also keep a copy of “Matrujyoti Payment slip”. Which should be submitted by the health center at the end of the month at CDM & PHO office, Sundergarh.
  • The health center will follow an excel sheet containing patient’s information on every ANC day-end.

  • For any question related to the programme, a toll-free number is provided, the District Call center will answer all the question related to the programme.

  • Inform immediately to call center, the call center will coordinate with the nearest health center and accommodate the patient.
  • In case of some of the blocks and sectors who are coming from distance place, it is advised to make the plan prior arrival with the coordination of CDPOs and concern health centers, also it is requested to the health center to check the patients.

  • A letter was sent to all health centers regarding Matrujyoti, all ASHA & AWW are advised to carry a letter which was sent to their concern CDPOs.
  • This letter was also sent to all govt. and Pvt. Health care centers.

  • All the Doctors will get their payment after submission of their “Matrujyoti Payment slip” which is a single sheet contain information on payment details.

  • It is always advised to bring the “Matrujyoti booklet” but in case if a pregnant woman forgot to bring , so the doctor can capture her information and at the day end along with other information can send it . It is always better to write a remark.

  • Matrujyoti payment slip is a single sheet which contain all necessary information for the payment process. For each subject the pricing is also mentioned.

  • “Yes” these situations may prevail, which is unavoidable, the health center will get all the benefit which comes under the scheme.

  • Yes, this is possible, the tagging is only made for proper management, so anyone facing any issue regarding the management can immediately contact the district call center, which will untag you and then tag you with a new center or sector.

  • The call center will do the monitoring, the call center will collect all report from the concern and keep track of the pregnant women checkup.
